NCERT focus on health and social education

I never liked social studies , history types of lengthy subjects. I even used to doubt  the existence , the benefits of studying these subjects. people might say that these subject help us in learning our history, our existence and  avoiding the mistakes ancestors had made...naaa...doesnt suit me.
